How do I submit my manuscript for consideration?

Do you work with first-time authors?
Yes! We are always looking for new authors, fresh voices, and original story.

What commission to you charge?
We charge the standard commission, as set by the Association of Author's Representatives: 15% on domestic contracts/sales, and 20% on foreign contracts/sales (10% to our foreign agent, and 10% to SDLA).

What is your response time?
We try to respond to all submissions within 6-8 weeks. Please remember to account for shipping time.

Can I submit more than one project to an agent at a time?
No, please only submit one project at a time (select your most publishable work), unless you have been invited by an agent to do otherwise.

Do you represent screenplays?
No, we do not represent screenplays. We do represent the film rights of our books, so that they can be adapted to film, but the project must be a book first.

Do you offer internships?
